We're using the 'Modbus Data to Server' feature in your RUT955 router (firmware 00.06.06.1) and have some queries please:

1) in the JSON format; how can we remove the [ ] characters surrounding the message? since this suggests that it's an array of objects where our JSON ingestion software expects a single JSON object

2) how can we send different register values on different topics?

3) for the register data; how can we have this combined into a single value e.g. [2, 9] becomes 521

4) can we get some more information about the newly added MQTT Gateway feature, seems to be no documentation on your website for it yet.

Hello, I don't know what is your need but we need the same function 1) to get only JSON String for Schneider Electric Machine Advisor.

Imo, Teltonika needs to add "Segment Count= 0" selection for pure Json String.

Hello,

1) in the JSON format; how can we remove the [ ] characters surrounding the message? since this suggests that it's an array of objects where our JSON ingestion software expects a single JSON object
It is possible, but at this moment only by making custom firmware, and for that you would need to contact yours sales manager.

2) how can we send different register values on different topics?
Are we talking about Data to Server in MQTT? if so:
It depends. If your slave device supports multiple slave addresses - yes if no - no. For example our routers as a slave device responds to all Device IDs when its device ID is set to 0

If it does, In Modbus Master section you can configure multiple Slave devices, with different IDs, that read different registers, and then in Data to Server section you can configure multiple Data Sender instances with different topics and filter which device sends data to which topic by their IDs form Modbus Master configuration.

3) for the register data; how can we have this combined into a single value e.g. [2, 9] becomes 521
Could you elaborate a little bit more about what do you mean by that? You want to combine values from different registers into one value?

4) can we get some more information about the newly added MQTT Gateway feature, seems to be no documentation on your website for it yet.
I will send you a Manual in PM and we will try to Add information to our website as soon as possible.
