RUT850 WAN EXTERNAL-ANTENNA AP-STA
-1- Does the unit automatically switch between AP and STA mode?
-2- Is it possible to connect an external (roof) antenna to improve the strength of the received signal. When this is the case, which antenna do you recommand and which connecting plug to the unit (and where can I obtain this plug?).

Hello,

1. The RUT850 can simultaneously operate in AP and STA mode, therefore, the mode stays unchanged.
2. Yes, the third party antennas can be connected to RUT850. It is important that the antenna would comply with the following requirements:

• FAKRA C Female straight connector.
• 50Ω impedance.
• RHCP polarization.
• 2.2 - 5.0 VDC supply voltage.
• Frequency range.
