Hello,

Are there  ACCESS POINT NODES (APN) configuration features on RUT950 routers towards Private  APN configuration with RUT950?  I have been reviewing questions and answers on this platform to be able to configure the following on a RUT950 router but being successful:

1. APN  [List]  .... field to type in "Private APN  name"

2. Authentication Protocol .......field  or dropdown list to select  CHAP/PAP,  CHAP,  PAP

3. DNS1 ......field to  enter the appropriate  DNS IP address for the  Private APN

4. DNS2 ......field to enter a 2nd  DNS service IP address

5. IP Address .......... field to enter  the designated IP address of the SIM card if not obtained by the service connected.  The RUT950 I have is able to obtain the IP address of the SIM card. However, the interface does not allow entry of a DNS IP addresses.

I will appreciate help from anyone with regards to configuring  Private APN  on the  RUT950.

Hello,

Good day hope your safe and doing well. 

Regarding your issue you can set manual APN in the RUT device Network > Mobile Tab you will just select manual APN instead of auto then you should provide the details for your Private APN network.

Hello Jerome,

I will look to upgrade the firmware of my RUT950 from  (RUT9XX_R_00.02.40  kernel 3.10.36) to the latest and look out the features.

Reviewing the referral link, I did not see anywhere for the Manual entry of the  GSM Service provider.
