Question

Hello,

We use the RUT950 in our product to connect and transmit data through a hosted server via PPTP VPN and upto now all units seem ok.

However after a certain amount of time, the VPN will disconnect and I have to manually connect to the router, refresh the mobile APN settings and it reconnects again.

My question is:  Is there a VPN Timeout or any idle setting, after a certain amount of time connected will the VPN disconnect?

Could it be the network operators if they see data being used constantly will it just disconnect then drop out?

I should point out that for some reason it tends to disconnect at around 23:30 every night

Can you tell me:

• Does only VPN tunnel goes down after 23:30 or all internet access?
• What do you mean by "refresh the mobile APN settings"?
