Question

I have 2 RUT240 routers with identical configuration - I went through item by item several times and they absolutely look 100% identical.

I add a SIM to Router 1 and it picks up a network pretty much right away and works. I take that SIM out and put it in Router 2 and it will not connect to a network for a data session to start. 

I tried to take a backup from Router 1 to use in Router 2 but there is an error all the time. "Incompatible backup file selected, please choose another file"

Not sure if I did something wrong with the backup. The 2 routers are the same model, same fw, same batch even!

Could you try disabling the Auto APN and selecting the APN manually on the drop down tab.
