Hello,

The firmware version of my RUT955 was 6.05.3, I tried to upgrade to 6.06.1 but the procedure stay into an endless loop (I wait for 60 minutes).

Knowing that the RUT955 is located at 250km, how to recover the situation ?

When we are in this endless loop, what is/are the first action(s) to perform ?

The bootloader procedure can be started only on a manual reset, correct ?

How exactly you upgraded and have you left the keep settings marked ? Waiting loop was probably the browsers cache so ctrl+f5 to clear cache.

I think you could try to use the sms utilities to check the status at first and if the router has internet connection add it on rms.

system > firmware > keep and upgrade from server

F5 didn't stop the loop

I didn't used ctrl + F5

The download was correct. The loop begins after.

I don't use rms

Hello,

Did you try SMS utilities as mentioned above? You can find more information here:

Also, I woulds strongly recommend creating an RMS account and if you have serial and MAC address of the device, register it on RMS. This is by far the best way to recover a lost device if it still has internet connection but is not reachable by other means.
