Hello,

Is there a way to geolocate a non-moving RUT240 device in RMS using info from cellular towers? This feature is described in the RUT955 model, but I don't see why it would not be possible to do it with other devices as well. Any info on how to use this?

Hi,

RUT240 doesn't have a GPS functionality. If you want, you can enable GPS monitoring in Management->Overview->Monitoring, using this function device approximate location will be shown (radius around the connected cell tower). This function updates device's location only once a day and will not display even approximate location if connected cell tower is not listed in RMS database of cell towers. You would need RUT850, RUT955, RUTX09 or RUTX11 if you want accurate GPS information
