openvpn startup on not connected no recconect

hi Guys,

I configured the openvpn client for the rut240. As soon as the Rut240 restarts, the vpn connection stops working. I then have to manually restart the openvpn service so that the connection works again. Is there a way to make it work automatically?

I had a very similar issue, VPN ran without issue until a reboot it seemed like the service was not automatically starting. Updating to the latest firmware at the time did not resolve the issue i beleive the firmware i tried was 1.11.2 (this was a few months ago)

what did help for some reason was the boot loader, Version 3.1.0 but this does not appear to be listed in the wiki any more?

Hello, 

Regarding your issue may i know what firmware are you using? Because I have created few VPN tunnels using OpenVPN and haven't had this issue. The OpenVPN connection will automatically starts when RUT device is rebooted.If you are using an old firmware kindly update it to the latest one.
