When setting L2TP Client I have Password and Authentication boxes what is the difference and should I use them?

Hi,

It is the main strings, which will let you authenticate the connection between a server and the client. You have to use them to define a client's authentication info.

Hello thanks for the reply, in the L2TP client setup dialog box I have User Name, Password and Authentication.
I do not see the Authentication box in any examples, is it new?

One of the recent updates has implemented that authentication list box to help users write down the credentials so it would be easier to find them.
