Using modbus with RUT240 seems to require re-connecting for every request. This is quite unpleasant and annoying.

TBR145 seems to have a "Keep persistent connection" option for this purpose. Is it possible to turn on persistent modbus connections similarly on the RUT240?

Greetings,

It is a planned feature for future releases, for now, there's no way to keep TCP connection after a request, but with future firmware, you should be able to do it.

Hello,

any further info about the persistent connection on TCP? It's very annoing see the device go offline if polled frequently. Also it will be very usefull even on a TRB141 device and TRB140.

EDIT: Found on firmware update TRB14X_R_00.02.04.3 for the TRB series, thank you

EDIT: Is it possible to have the same option on an old 905 device? Thanks again

Best regards

Marco
