I have been following the configuration guidelines and testing the SMS system in multiple ways from the wiki pages. In each attempt to send an SMS I receive a Timeout error both in CLI and in the web UI any assistance on the matter would be helpful I can also provide the troubleshoot document for my device if that would assist in the matter.

I have configured and setup the Teltonika to appropriately use the 4G failover and mobile data from Verizon. We also have verified the account and SIM is setup to allow SMS messages to be sent and received.

Would you be able to check if same SIM card can send SMS messages from any other device, e.g. mobile phone?

If it can, try to send SMS message to/from the router (while SIM is inserted) few times despite shown errors. Afterwards, download troubleshoot package from "System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot" menu and sent it to me via private message.

Hello, Did you manage to solve the issue? I am having the same kind of trouble:

SMS sending causes timeout and deregistering from the data connection. It's a t-mobile SIM, roaming in Switzerland.
