I have a 12V DC battery that is charged from a solar PV panel with a nominal charging voltage of 12.8...13.3V during daylight hours.

The RUT240 will not power-up from the battery but does work with the 9V DC adaptor. Please can you advise why this might be?

Thank you.

Hi,

Could you please explain in more detail how are you powering the device? Did you make sure that you power through PIN1 and ground it through PIN2?

I connected RUT240 on a solar powered battery It's range from 12 to 24V (14V nominal stand-by) without problems.

I reccomend to powering with stock cable with terminal block. (order code 058R-00229)

Ensure to avoid at all any type of homemade connector, it's not reilable.
