Dear Sirs,

We are testing the Teltonikia RTU955

I want the Teltonika router to send me and e-mail (containing new public IP address) when Public IP adress changes.

I prefer not doing this by DNS

How can I do this?

Hi,

Unfortunately, Teltonika routers do not have such feature.

I get that you don't want to use DDNS, but it would be the only option to have stable/always updating Public IP alternative.

Is the RTU955 this different from the RUTX11 ? On the the RUTX11 it is possible to do that via Services->Events reporting.

If true I have to think again about my next purchase.

There are a plenty of way you can do that for example with a python script or crontab...

This command can give you the public ip: curl -s icanhazip.com and you just have to incorporate it inside a script...

It is possible with the script, but as we're not responsible for user-made scripts or anything that is 3rd party we do not recommend that, do it at your own risk.
