Hi there, I am trying to connect to the internet after setting up the RUTX11 as per instructions. However, I cannot connect to the internet. System summary shows that all is OK.

WAN is disabled and RMS is on Standby I have repeatedly RESET the system as well as RESET to factory settings (press Reset longer than 5 sec.) and reentered the same login password. Here I notices though, that the login password for the network login has not been lost and also the SIM card Pin has not been "forgotten". I thought factory reset loses all the previously entered data??

I have not updated the firmware yet.

No data volume problem on the provider side as I can enter the internet with the same SIM card on my mobile.

Any idea what the problem might be?

Thank you for a speedy reply.

Cheers, cmr

Hello,

Regarding your issue could you try updating the firmware to the latest one available for the RUTX11 via boot loader menu?

You can update the device via boot loader menu on this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Device_Recovery_Options#Bootloader_menu

For the Firmware: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Firmware_Downloads

If your issue still persist let me know

Hi Jerome,

Thank you for your input.

Still have not upgraded the firmware version. However, I am now able to access the internet after I changed back the Auto APN functionality in the MOBILE CONFIGURATION /MOB1S1A1 from ON back to OFF status and removing the second SIM card that I had in Slot 2. Internet is working fine now (much faster than at home), but I just don't know why. Shall try to update the firmware version and test adding the second SIM card in the next days. Will let you know how I go.

Hello,

You could use two sim cards on your RUT device but try configuring both sim not to use the AUTO APN functionality.

Let me know if the issue still persist.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Jerome
