Could I ask you why you need a bootloader to upgrade? Have you started to notice any issues with how your router behaves? Most of the cases are solved with simple firmware upgrade and we do not recommend updating your bootloader anymore. So if your router runs as it intended to - then you don't need to update the bootloader.
