Hello. With RUT950 is there a way to trigger a notification (SMS or email) when a specific IP on LAN is not reachable ?

Thank you.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it's not possible with the features that we have in our router right now. Though I'm pretty sure it's doable with custom script that would execute gsmctl command on different ping responses.

As Teltonika Support Engineers we do not script for our clients, but I will be ready to help if you need any basic help with executable commands and directing.

Hi Ernesta. Thanks for the answer. If you have some links for script tutorials it would be nice. My main concern is how to execute the script on scheduled basis...

Hi,

There are a lot of script tutorials, but the clearest one I could find right now is this one:

https://linuxconfig.org/bash-scripting-tutorial-for-beginners

For scheduling your executable scripts read about cron, it will help you to execute your scripts on your defined time.
