Hello

I am new at Teltonika products and testing the RUTX11. Overall this device is very nice!!  I am encountering a problem however.  We have a wholesale relationship with AT&T in the US.   When I try to configure AT&T SIM using the IMEI number of the RUTX11 I am unable to provision this on AT&T on a data-only rate plan. The reason is AT&T thinks based on the IMEI number this is a "Quectel EG06-A" device and requires VoLTE service.

Is this true?  Does this modem pick up IMS profile and register for VoLTE service, even though it's only a data router?

Thanks

Hello,

Your router is indeed using Quectel EG06-A modem, but it should work with data-only plans as it is AT&T IoT Data plan certified device: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_AT%26T. Also, this router is capable of SMS and calling features, but not for VoLTE service. You should try to contact AT&T to find out why they are not letting you choose data-only plan.

Regards.
