Hey all,

I've got a up and running l2tp vpn connection server which I don't have any problems connecting to from other devices.
I've setup the connection in my RUT950 but I can not see it connect anywhere.

Where do I see connection status for the VPN?
I tried the cli command l2tp status without any luck since there was another ipsec status.

best regards,
Martin

Hello,

You could check if L2TP tunnel is up by using ifconfig command in CLI. If the VPN tunnel is up you will see a new interface appear with l2tp name on it. Another solution would be to ping L2TP server tunnel IP address. If ping is successful,  it means L2TP tunnel is up.

Regards.
