Hi,

Connection diagram:

My Windows PC -- Internet -- RMS portal -- 3G -- RTU240 -- LAN -- Device A

I can establish SSH connection via RMS portal to "device A", connected into RTU240 LAN port. OK.

- Can I transfer file using SCP (or other method) from/to "device A" to/from my local computer?

I tried SCP command and file download is ok using target ./  (current folder in host machine) but I have no idea where it actually was stored? In RTU240 file system?

OpenVPN is not an option this time.

Regards, Simo

Hello,

Regarding this question of yours may i know what type of Device is connected on the RUT240 is it a PC? if yes could it run web services like a HTTP file server will make it much easier. Also their is an alternative way doing SCP without public IP address by the use of a 3rd party VPN platform Zerotier One.

I am going to run some test on the said scenario about RMS + SSH + SCP and let you know the results.

More information about Zerotier One: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/ZeroTier_One_VPN_configuration

Hope it helps.
