I am trying to use simcards that can connect all over EU (provided by Dutch company SimServices) with the RUT240.

The sims work when the routers are used in home-country Netherlands, but not when used for the first time on roaming in Germany.

If I insert the sims in my mobile phone they work fine. After I already do this step, and then I insert them back in the router, all of a sudden the sims can connect to a provider (?!)

Of course, this is something that cannot be normally explained. Find the troubleshoot here https://community.teltonika-networks.com/?qa=blob&qa_blobid=9944671294089021217

This issue is happening only on the routers represented in the images below.

Firmware: (latest) 1.12.2

APN: custom  m2mc.simservices (which is correct)

Deny roaming access: Unchecked

Hello,

I tried to open your troubleshoot file but it was empty for me so maybe you could redownload it once the issue appears. Another solution is to check if you have data roaming enabled in Network > Mobile configuration. There may be another issue that you need to set manual APN settings for SIM to pick connections outside the Netherlands.

Regards.
