The TRB series are not Giteki certified. Does this mean that they cannot function in Japanese cellular networks at all, or is it just that official certification is pending?

Hi,

It depends, there are operators that block devices if they're not certified, but there are operators that do not care and the device will work as long as frequency bands are supported.

For now, I can tell that only RUT240, RUT950, and RUT955 are certified and working with Giteki certification, but about the other our products - it totally depends on the Japanese networks.
