Hello, my current firmeware version is RUTX_R_00.02.04.3, and before upgrading I wanted to understand if I upgrade to UTX_R_00.02.05.1, is the modem firmware will be also updated ? Or I have to reflash the modem firmware separately ?

Is that issue is solved ?

Then witch one of those 2 firmware should I upgrade first ? And is the new UTX_R_00.02.05.1 can work without updating the modem firmware to the latest one ? my current modem firmware is EG06ELAR03A05M4G.

Hello,

Without updating the modem and only by updating the firmware will work without any issues. But it is best to use the latest firmware for both to have the latest bug fixes.

Hello,

Upgrading the RUT device firmware will not upgrade the current modem firmware it is using unless you manually update the modem firmware to the latest one. For the link you shared in this question i was not able to receive any feedback on the client side anymore so maybe upgrading the device via boot loader mode solves the issue.

It is suggested to upgrade the firmware of the devices to the latest one to have the latest revisions and fixes made for the device.
