I'm trying to configure WAN failover in RUT950, but Wired WAN option is missing
by

Adding comments because I always got "maximum length 12000 chars" error in main post

by

Status -> Network -> WAN shows WAN port disabled (even though the WAN cable is connected and the port LED is lit).

FW ver.: RUT9XX_R_00.06.07

LAN -> Advanced settings -> "Use WAN port as LAN" is NOT checked.

Previously we have only had mobile connection (2 SIM cards and failover switching between them) but now in addition we got a wired connection, which we want to be the primary internet connection.

Wireless is not in use. LAN1 and LAN2 ports are configured to two different VLANs.

I can send troubleshoot file.

Hi,

Did you do anything with VLAN or Network configs maybe? In your case interface is gone completely and WAN shows up as not functional.

If I were you I would reset the router to factory defaults without keeping the settings, as for now, you don't seem to know why it's gone.

Factory reset and manually setting all settings again solved that problem.
