There was a discussion about a year ago about the memory expansion function:
https://community.teltonika-networks.com/3029/rut955-how-to-extend-root-on-sd-card-to-install-programs

Has there been any progress? I cannot find any newer information.

Just tested by plugging an ext2-formated micro-sd-card in there, but it's not showing up for storage memory expansion.

I would be very interested in this feature, as I need storage expansion (which is done using an USB stick right now) and now the need for another USB connection came up.

Being able to use the micro-sd slot for storage expansion would safe us from having to integrate an USB hub just for this into our systems...

Hi,

I've just tested the latest RUT9 version and the MicroSD card shows up correctly when I check file storage with df command.

Storage is working but expanding root is a different thing.

In this case, no, this feature is not implemented yet. The only way to do it right now is with USB storage.

Sad, but then we'll have to integrate an USB hub right now.

You're writing "not yet" - is this something still on the roadmap? Any ETA?

It is an open case right now and being worked on, but no ETA at this point.

Having this feature would be great.
