Hi,

I made a setup with TRB245 with MQTT Gateway and using MQTT Broker of TRB245.

When using in my lan I can read/write modbus command by MQTT and this is working fine.

I tried to have remote acces by forwarding port external port 1883 to internal TRB245 IP, port 1883 but I can't connect to the broker anymore by client software.  I already enabled "remote access" by broker settings.

Any help would be much. appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,

Can you reach your WebUI from an external network with port 80? Do you have public IP for that? Or you just want to forward internally and not outside the local network?

Thanks for your reply.

I have a public (fixed) ip of the internet connection but can't reach from external by port 80.

I forwarded port 1883 for MQTT but also 80 to reach webUI but can't reach it. Already tried to set DMZ in my internet router to reach TRB245 directly.

Could you reset your router to full factory defaults and then do this:

1. Go to System > Administration > Access Control.

2. Enable Remote HTTP and HTTPS Access.

3. Try accessing your router's WebUI from an external network by going into a public fixed IP.
