For RUT955 GNSS - What is the maximum NMEA messages forwarding rate over IP/Ethernet and over RS232/RS485 ?

Can it meet 1Hz or more output rate ?

Is there other interface on RUT955 that can output the GNSS receiver NMEA directly with low latency ?

Do you have other Teltonika Cellular modem + GNSS that support this ?

Hello, 

Regarding the NMEA data sending frequency depends on your configuration about NMEA collecting and forwarding you can get more information on this link: RUT955 GPS - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika Networks (teltonika-networks.com)

For the RS232 and RS485 we do support NTRIP client the NMEA data will be based on the GPS collection and forwarding settings also.

The LTE module inside RUT955 EC25 supports standard NMEA-0183 protocol, and outputs NMEA sentences at 1Hz data update rate via USB interface by default.

When using NMEA IP forwarding of RS232/485 forwarding what will be the average/max delay  between the LTE module NMEA-0183 sentence till the  NMEA-0183 sentence will be on the RUT955 Ethernet or RS232/485 output lines ?

Can I expect that such delay would be <100mSec ?

Hello,

We don't have the exact data but if you test it will be like sent continuously. Depending of the number of collecting and forwarding records you have configured.

How to change the interval of NMEA data collecting could be found here: RUT955 GPS - Wiki Knowledge Base | Teltonika Networks

You can set it to collect every 1 second (1hz) and it will send you your data without any hiccups.
