Hi, I am using RUT950 and want to improve the internet connection as seems to not be very stable. I am looking at setting up auto ping reboot but I have some questions:

- What´s the differences between restart mobile connection & modem restart? Can you give some examples when it is better to use one instead of the other?

- What´s the differences between modem restart & reboot? Can you give some examples when it is better to use one instead of the other?

- I have two PLCs communicating each other through the LAN ports of the router. If I am not wrong, the switch is turned off while a reboot but remains enabled while restarting mobile connection. Will the switch be turned off while modem restart?

Hello,

Restart mobile connection meaning mobile will re register .

Modem restart meaning LTE modem will restart .

Reboot meaning all the device features/functions and device itself will restart.

Yes as mentioned above only with "reboot" all the device's functions will restart . And with mobile restart only mobile part will be effected , LAN ports will remain stable.
