Dear Teltonikans

I am trying to resolve a mobile data problem with our mobile provider.
We have a Teltonika RUT950 and our mobile data provider wants to make us responsible for 300GB of data download.
I want find out, if some device failure might have created a mobile data sink. The only technical problem so far is, that the RUT950 device might have experienced power undersupply. Does anybody know, if such a mobile data drain/sink problem can happen in such circumstances? or can other circumstances lead to such a problem?
Is there some log or other way how I could find further information on the device?

Hello,

Regarding your problem, I believe there is no relation between the data consumption with the device being under power.
If you refer to this link you will see: RUT950 Power Consumption - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com) that the RUT950 is not power-hungry.

If you want to check the total data usage where is it coming from you can refer to this link:
Shell Commands - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

tcpdump is the most common one for traffic analysis.

Hope it helps

Regards,

Jerome
