Hi,

We have purchased many of the RUT240 Routers and need to setup port forwarding for a specific device on the local network.

The IP address locally is 192.168.0.1, the ports needing forwarding include, 9998, 80 & 50000.  Is there a guide as to how to set this up? i have trolled through the FAQ and cant find a solution. I have set this up in the Network.....Port Forwarding... New Port Forward Rule. but it wont work, is there any other settings, tick boxes I need to tick?

Thanks for your assistance.

Sean

Hello,

Could you please try visiting this link here you can see a full guide how to port forwarding.

After configurations don't forget to save the settings on the right bottom.

As you mentioned you want to forward port 80 as well.

I want to clarify that port 80 is for webui.http access by default . You cannot use the same port for another purpose . In case if its really needed kindly change http port to other like 90 etc . You can change it from System>Administration>Access control>http port further see detailed information here .

Also check with your IT administrator if the said ports are opened on specific IP address.

Thank you.

I hope it helps.

Regards,

Ahmed
