I can't do a port forward on my Rut955.

Could it be because my WAN address is "private" and not the public I see with eg "whatismyip.com".

If this is the error – how do I fix?

Hello,

If you are having a private IP address , and you are trying to reach the device outside the network its not possible with private IP to reach that device that is outside the network . Devices must be ping able so that the devices could be reached by port forwarding .
