Dear All,

When using SSH, how can I force the GSM modem in RUT240 router to shut / stop, restart the GSM connection?
The actions above can be done via GUI using https, this is too slow over very poor connections, need to do this via CLI.

Looking at help for gsmctl,
I see only:
gsmctl -D, --shutdown                Shutdown the modem
The above command did nothing useful it seems.

Thank you.

Hi,

/etc/init.d/modem stop / disable / enable / restart are the commands you're looking for.

Thank you,
/etc/init.d/modem stop / disable / enable / restart => works

{gsmctl -D, --shutdown also works as it does shut the modem, modem restarts +- 60 seconds later.}
