Hello,

after upgrading the modem from RUTX_R_00.02.05.2 to RUTX_R_00.02.06, requests via JSON RPC does not work anymore.
It is possible to get a session ID but when requesting any state, the modem returns 6.

Best Regards

Hi,

I was able to reproduce your issue and reported it to RnD for further investigation.

Thank you for your feedback.

As it seems that the issue isn't there with 02.05.2 and if JSON-RPC is necessary for your use-case - you can always go back to that older firmware while this gets fixed.

Technically yes but practically no.
The modem is already at the customer and a FW downgrade can not be done without loosing the rooters configuration, am I right?
So things become very difficult.

In this case, I will ask you to patiently wait while this gets fixed.

We're sorry for any inconvenience that this might have caused and I will come back to you with the report of this matter.

Any news on that?

Fix for this will be released with the next firmware.

When will this be released?

Can we get a beta to try this out in the meantime?

Can we have a BETA firmware where this is fixed already?

Or when do you think the next FW wil be released?

I still have the same problem after installing your latest FW release 02.06.1

We use your routers for over one year now, first RUT955 and now RUTX11, and none of them is fully functional.

If things go on like this, we need to choose other supplier.

Please let me know until when you can fix this problem.

Any updates on this? Almost another two months gone without a functional RPC interface ... We need the fix for TRB140.

I would also be interrested in a solution to this problem, we would like to use the interface to get RSSI information for mobile applications.

Any news on this bug for TRB140?
