Question

Hi, I have just got the RUT240.

I've attached the wifi and mobile antennas. Added my simcard. Plug in the power supply... and nothing. Green power LED is on but no network in wifi settings.

I'm on a MacBook no ethernet! Wanted to configure using the webui

Hi,

If you could answer some of the questions that would be great:

1. Were you able to get into WebUI? Have you tried setting up static DHCP settings in your network adapter?

2.Does your LEDS indicate anything else except that Green power LED?

4. Try another power supply if you have one.

Hey,

1. No. I don't have an ethernet adapter for my MacBook.

2. Nope nothing else. Just the green power LED on solid.

3. I don't have an ethernet adapter so can't try this.

4. Yes, mains adapter and the dc cable I've wired into my boat electrical system.

Well, I would first try doing all of the above when you get a hold on of another computer or maybe an ethernet adapter for your MacBook.

If after trying you're still unable to make your RUT2240 work - consider returning it to the reseller as hardware faulty device.
