Hi

I cannot, connect to RU240 webui via RMS, it says WebUI is unreachable. Due to Covid restrictions I am unable to go to site to test locally. I can and have rebooted the device and can see its online.

It does let me and the response to the command you assed me to issue is as bellow.

Hello,

What FW version is device using ? Could you try upgrading to the latest?

Could you please confirm if it was working fine before ?

Is the remote http access enabled for the mentioned device ?

Are you sure device has enough credits ?
 
Can you see device status as online in the RMS ?

  1. I have already tried upgrading the firmware version, this did not appear to make any difference
  2. I think it was but to be honest cannot be 100% certain i tried connecting remotely. I did definately not use to say WebUI is unreachable, I used to be able to generate the link.
  3. I believe so.
  4. Yes plenty of credits
  5. Yes I can see the device status, update the firmware, restart and backup.

Could you share a copy of link/token in privat that you generated for Remote access .

What WAN type is this router using ?

Is it Mobile ?

Does sim card has text messages ?

If the remote http access is not enabled you would not be able to access the router through RMS.

  1. It does not let me as it says the device cannot be reached despite it being reached for monitoring.
  2. Its is Mobile
  3. I dont think it has txt, but may do.
  4. As i said it appeared to work at first but then didnt so I think this was configured correctly.

Hello,

As you are unable to reach the device's webui . Could you try generating a link/token for device CLI ? Kindly let me know .

If yes .

Try the following command :

Username for CLI: root

Password: Same as you use to login the webui.

uci show uhttpd

And share the results here.

Can we have a little remote session ?

Also please share a troubleshoot file for the device .

Can be downloaded on RMS . Devices>Select Device>Export>Troubleshoot.
