I want to define the following rule:

ipsec status

Can this be done? If so, how?

Is there a way to just pipe commands to the RUT950, grab the response and send that back via sms?

Hi,

Till now, there was no such demand for additional SMS utility that would control or just send SMS with the status of IPSEC.

If there will be more demand for this feature - I will make sure it reaches RnD as a suggestion.

You can use SDK https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Software_Development_Kit to make your own changes to the firmware.

With a little bit of study and research of this whole tool you should be able to add your own SMS rules into firmware which then you can compile.
