Hi,

I am trying to connect with another computer via RMS.

I provided SSH and HTTP connections. I can't get the desktop connection anyway. I am getting bad configuration and timeout errors. I entered my windows username-password. I have disable windows defender.

The project I want to do, I want to establish an IP camera connection to TRB245 and watch it from my computer via RMS. I guess I need to establish an HTTP connection to do this. Can I handle this job I mentioned through RMS?

Hello,

Regarding the scenario you want to implement. RMS works with SSH, HTTP(S), VNC, and RDP. From what I understand you want to do livestreaming with a IP camera. I believe the Topology will be [RMS] ----> [TRB245] ---->[IP Camera] where you want to get access with the camera via RMS link. With this situation livestreaming of the camera is on RTSP port that is running on port 554.

Using RMS you will be able to reach the Web UI access of the camera but if you want to access it through the livestreaming part directly it is not available with RMS.

My suggestion is use any 3rd party VPN platform like Zerotier. Connect TRB245 to Zerotier then connect you PC also via zerotier then do port-forwarding on TRB245 to the camera.

For more information you may refer to this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/ZeroTier_Configuration

Hope it helps

Thank you for your answer.

For now, I am trying to connect with my host computer via another computer. I make the same connection scheme with the computer instead of the camera.

How can I connect to my computer using HTTP over RMS?

First of all, I want to transfer images with the camera on my computer. I will start camera business after I do this job. Since I cannot provide the RMS desktop connection, I would like to try this connection with HTTP.

I am not planning to use Zerotier for now. Can I do this with RMS?

Hello,

Yes, it is possible through RMS but you need to configure a HTTP file server.

The connection scheme will be like this:

Your PC ===Connected=== TRB245 === Connected RMS === RMS [Remote HTTP Settings]

RMS Remote HTTP(S) Settings:
IP address of your PC connected through TRB245 and the port that the HTTP File Server is running.

Example HTTP file server: https://www.rejetto.com/hfs/

Hope it helps
