Hi folks, I am having a recuring problem, my mobile connection drops. Sometimes it happens every few days and somtimes it is ten times a day. When this happens, to get the connection back, I go to Network and then click Reboot modem or I totaly reboot the router. What could cause this? Is there somewhere I could look to diagnose?

Hi,

Please follow these options below and see if any of these make sense:

1. See if your antennas are attached properly and you got a good signal. I would say <-80 signal value should be pretty stable for it to stop disconnecting.

2. Check if you have the latest firmware version available for RUT9XX devices.

3. Make sure you're using Custom APN, it might be that your operator doesn't lock you into the service because your APN is set to AUTO.

4. Make sure your power supply is stable.

5. Try using auto-reboot (ping reboot) feature, which will restart your modem automatically once the connection to the mobile internet is down.
