I'm planning to use a RUT950 (FW ver.: RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.5) to connect to a Cisco Meraki MX 64 (MX 14.53) as an L2TP client.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Client_VPN/Client_VPN_OS_Configuration

The biggest problem I'm facing is that the RUT 950 lacks the support of a shared secret as an L2TP client. A static IPSEC tunnel is not an option because the RUT only has a dynamic mobile WAN IP and the Meraki cannot create an IPSEC tunnel of anything except a public IP. FQDN with a dynamic DNS name cannot be used.

Is it possible to add an L2TP client shared secret by CLI or does this have to be added as a feature by Teltonika?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting.

I would like to tell that its not possible through CLI.

But its possible through L2TP over IPSEC. You can use pre shared key with the help of IPSEC.

Thank you .

Regards,

Ahmed
