I am trying to establish a connection as shown above. I use RMS to access TRB245 remotely.

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Hikvision:_remote_camera_access

I ran into a few issues while following the steps here.

First of all, I do not view the HTTP port from the steps specified in the link in my camera's own interface. I reviewed the datasheet but no such information is given.

As output format: RTP-RTSP-UDP-TSRTP-MP4 -RTMP-RTMPS - SRT

Can I get images over RMS using one of these? Is there any sample how can I do?

My goal is to be able to take images using one of the cloud solutions over IP Camera, I am open to any suggestions.

Hello,

For this one, I would like to clarify things that RMS is supporting these protocols as of now (SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, RDP, and VNC).  But there are plans for the implementation of camera and streaming protocols with RMS in the future.

For the mentioned protocol that the camera is using let say RTSP that is used for live streaming, it is not supported. So I would suggest the use of 3rd party VPN solutions that is with the router example Zerotier and OpenVPN for this kind of network solutions.

I've never worked on the VPN side. If I continue from the link below, can I connect to the Camera?

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Camera_access_from_VPN

I found the following link in ZeroTier.

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/ZeroTier_Configuration

Can I do it using the links I posted?

Hello,

Yes, that link is detailed and you will be able to follow. So first is you need to set up the Zerotier network connect the router then do port-forwarding to the port that the camera is using. Also, you can only access the router when the device your using lets say your smartphone is also connected to your zero-tier network.
