Hi,

we recently purchased a couple of RUT950s which came on RUT9XX_R_00.06.07 firmware. The ones we have used before were on RUT9XX_R_00.06.05.3

We are having trouble getting them to connect over VPN on the new firmware. We have tried loading in the config from an old router & manually doing the settings as per previous routers. We have also tried the latest package for SNMP but not had any joy. Here is the troubleshooting file in case it is useful.

Is there any new settings between the firmwares that we need to be aware of for VPN connections?

Regards,

Stephen

Hello,

There have been more than few changes in patch notes regarding VPN (added new options) which means config file from older firmware will not be suitable. You have 2 options right now: install older firmware (not recommended) or configure your router accordingly using our guides. I assume you are using OpenVPN: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/OpenVPN_configuration_examples

Also, you can find examples for all VPN configurations in our wiki.

Best regards.
