Hello, I have a RUT955. I wanted information about the data connection

I noticed that, during the day, the modem makes completely random connections without me doing anything .. On the modem I have activated a vpn. Could this be the cause? Or what could it be?

I have not activated any idle protection on the modem.

It is hard to tell where that random data traffic originates from without in-depth information, but I could suggest looking into connections table inside your router WebUI. Navigate Status > Graphs > Connections and below the graph, you should see all traffic information (source and destination included).
