Hi,

I want to connect my RUT955 WAN with PPPoE to my ISP. I put correct Account and password, but get any IP from ISP.
I test with other router is working fine. What should I do?

Hi,

  • Are there any special characters in the credentials of that PPPoE account?
  • Have you tried rebooting the router after you've entered PPPoE credentials?
  • Do you have the latest firmware installed on your router?

- yes, my account has special character as "@" example: abc123@abcd (This account name I cannot change, it provided by ISP)

- I rebooted many time

- Yes, I have latest firmware.

Of course, it would be better that troubleshoot had more information in it so make sure your device worked for at least 10 minutes and tried connecting through PPPoE before downloading troubleshoot file.

You can download it using WebUI, System > Administration > Troubleshoot
