Hello,

You can connect your pc/laptop with usb port on TRB 140 , your pc would receive IP address from TRB140 and on your pc you can use putty to send AT commands to the router . 

For putty login :

Username: root

Password: same as you use to login webui.

Thank's for the ansswer but it was not my question:

I have a hardware able to send basic "at" commands for sending SMS from usb link. (by exemple it work with multitech modem)

Is it possible to use the TRB140 usb port in the same way? (mean the usb is a serial com port?)

You can use minicom, you may need to download it (not sure if it is available for the TRB140):

opkg update

opkg install minicom
