Is there any chance to name the LAN devices within the router like an alias (mapping to better understand which device is what?

Hello.

Can you give a more detailed example of what you want to achieve? Create aliases for your router's interfaces?

Best regards.

in the list of LAN devices I see very unuseful names of devices (like switches) which I could not change directly in the device. I have only the MAC address to identify which device is what. In another router I have an option to name such devices in the router that they appear in LAN lists with these new "easer" to understand names (like living rooom switch). Is this possible with the Teltionika Router as well.

hope this clarifies my need

Try editing your /tmp/dhcp.leases file.

Usually, changes to the manual setting are erased after each reboot.

Best regards.
