Hi,

I encountered the following problems with the setup of a PPTP server on a RUT240:

• a login was not possible with a password like "abcdabcd+#-"
• I can't not find any log entries about PPTP events

Is there a common password definition for PPTP connections that forbit the tried PW or is it a bug?

Troubleshooting without log entries is not the way to come to the problem an a direct way...

I changed the password to  something like "abcdabcd123". It is working now.

Thank you for your observation regarding this issue. I have tested your use case myself and reported it to our RnD team. Hopefully, it will be fixed in future firmware releases.
