Hi,

I cannot open the web UI of my RUT950 from one of my devices probably because I entered the incorrect password too many times. No problem with other devices. Please provide a simple step by step instruction for the procedure to fix this. Thanks

Hi,

The easiest way to go around the safety block - change your static IP address to any other one. So if your network adapter is set to 192.168.1.100, just manually set it to 192.168.1.101 and you will be able to reach WebUI again.

You can also send SMS with UCI command to do that:

SMS'es should look like this, make sure you send them separately:

admin01 uci delete blocklist.@uhttpd[0].ip='192.168.1.100'

uci commit

luci-reload

Change "admin01" to your current WebUI password and "192.168.1.100" to the IP that the router blocked.

The second option seems complicated for me. The device is an ipad. Can I set a static IP address on it without problems?

I'm not sure if that differs from the versions of iOS, but I believe it should be possible.
