I have a RUT9XX with on SIM1 an unlimited data plan (max 10GB per calendar month). But when this data plan has reached the limit of 10GB it can be extended with free 5GB bundels at a time by sending an SMS to the provider. Is it possible to automatically send the required sms on the limit of 10GB (and 5GB) is reached?

Can this be done with the actual firmware versions???

Hello,

Unfortunately, you cannot do that. What you could do is configure the Mobile Data Limit feature inside router WebUI (for example set a limit to 10GB) and send an SMS warning to yourself. Once you get the warning, you can immediately react and send the required SMS manually. You read more about this: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Mobile#Mobile_Data_Limit

Would it be an option in future firmware?

Hi,

Right now there are no future plans for this feature planned. We have big updates coming for RUT9 devices, but I cannot tell exactly what will change, after that I could pass this feature as a suggestion.
