Is it possible to swap out the modem board for two older RUT955 modems to change the Quectel module on it to another region?

Would sales be able to help or is this already too old to work?

Hi,

I believe it would be possible to swap into another Quectel modem, but I'm not sure - so it's really better to contact your sales manager and discuss this research and development.

And how do I know which is my sales manager?
I bought the EU RUT955s from EuroDK I think.
Would I need to contact them or someone from Teltonika?
I doubt the distributor will know if the modem board can be swapped, or if any world/AU versions are available..

Go to our contacts page here: https://teltonika-networks.com/about-us/contacts/

And fill out the form that pops up when the Contact Us button is pressed.

And someone from the sales managers team should reach out to you soon.

Hi,

I'm coming with additional information that could help you.

You CAN swap the modems of the product, but you would need a half of other product's version PCB (the one that has modem soldered in).

You should be able to connect them and have the modem and combined router operational without any additional changes.

How are you going to get that half of the PCB is another question, but that's the way it could be done and achieved.
