Hello,

I will appreciate some help and links that confirms RutXR1 recognizes  SFP ports, and some of the recommended SFP ports that have worked with RutXR1.

Is it possible the SFP port on RUTXR1 could work with or replace the Fiber-to-the-home Modems supplied by most service providers ?

Hi,

Internet service providers usually have those "Fiber to the home" modems set-up manually to avoid people changing them. So first you would need to know how does that provided modem confirms the connection and then, if we have the options, do the same on RUTXR1.

RUTXR1 detects SFP and uses the WAN interface to configure it, which means you cannot use the WAN port while SFP is active.
