It does not connect to the mobile network with known working SIM installed. Troubleshooting help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Based on your description it is likely that the modem is not booting up. If you could provide the Troubleshoot file from the router, perhaps I'd able to confirm it.

You can download the Troubleshoot file from the router's WebUI, System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot page.

Important note: if you decide to upload the Troubleshoot file here, I highly recommend deleting any confidential information that you may have in the configuration (except for the router's password; that doesn't show up in the Troubleshoot file)

Thanks for your reply. Will the troubleshooting file be valid without a SIM card installed? I would expect so if we are simply checking that the modem is booting?

SIM is currently in use in another device.

Yes, you are correct in assuming that the SIM is not needed to check whether the modem boots up.

Hi,

I have downloaded the troubleshoot file. How do I get it to you? Can I email it or post any specific text here?

Many thanks

You can use WeTransfer: https://wetransfer.com/

Hi,

It asks for an email address?

Can I not just email it to you directly or post text from a file?

Thanks

I've looked over the logs in your Troubleshoot file. The modem definitely isn't booting/is not detected. You should contact your sales manager for information on the warranty service.

This looks like what happened to my RUT950. I fixed it by reinstalling the bootloader...
